decisions that influence
how money is distributed in
schools and how our children are
educated
These positions can have a huge
impact on the education of
children
as well as provide an entry point
for local citizens
who want to contribute to their
community
and to the greater good Board positions can also attract
people who want to gain a
foothold
in order to advance dangerous
views Everyone should vote when
school board elections take
place! GOOD DEMOCRATS VOTE!!! We are sharing information about
two candidates
for the Rhinebeck School Board
whose missions align with ours at

Introducing Juliet GormanandMary-Kay Lombino Candidates for Rhinebeck School
Board
Juliet Gorman Juliet moved to Clinton Corners
in 2020 and has one child in the
Rhinebeck School District
and one who will be entering in
September. She is an
organizational development
consultant with a background in
journalism and
communications. She has been a
union shop steward, a workplace
mediator and and an advisor to
congressional staff. She is
“passionate about public school,
neighborliness and bringing people
to the table”
and believes her professional
background can be an asset to
serving on the board

Mary-Kay Lombino Mary-Kay has lived in Rhinebeck
Village for 15 years with her
husband and her son who
has attended Rhinebeck
schools since kindergarten and is
currently a tenth-grader at
Rhinebeck High School. She is an
arts and culture professional with
experience in strategic planning,
managing budgets, and allocating
funds in a mission-driven
educational organization and
has worked as a leader in the
non-profit education field for 25
years
